  1. ALIH Templat:Infobox Region Prancis

Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées adalah nama sementara dari Region Prancis yang dibuat pada tanggal 1 Januari 2016 dari mantan region Prancis Languedoc-Roussillon dan Midi-Pyrénées. Region baru meliputi area seluas lebih dari 72724 km2 (28079 sq mi) dengan populasi 5.626.858.[1]


Sebelum diberlakukan pada 2014, reformasi teritorial daerah telah diperdebatkan selama bertahun-tahun.[2] Akan tetapi sebuah nama yang permanen hanya akan diberikan pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2016 atas usulan dari dewan region baru di kawasan itu.[3]

Toponimi |


Sebagai nama sementara region baru, teks hukum yang menetapkan nama-nama ditulis dengan tanda penghubung dari pendahulu di kawasan itu, Languedoc-Roussillon dan Midi-Pyrénées, dalam urutan abjad. Seperti untuk sebagian besar region yang bergabung, nama permanen akan diusulkan oleh dewan region baru 1 Juli 2016 dan dikonfirmasi oleh Conseil d'Etat oleh 1 Oktober 2016.[3]




Peta region baru dengan ketigabelas département, diwarnai berdasarkan provinsi bersejarah seperti saat mereka masih ada sampai 1790.
