Máirtín Ó Cadhain, nado no ano 1906 en An Spidéal, Condado de Galway, e finado o 18 de outubro de 1970 en Dublín, foi un escritor de contos, novelista, xornalista e mestre irlandés, considerado como unha das figuras máis importantes da literatura en lingua irlandesa do século XX.
