No legendarium do escritor inglés J. R. R. Tolkien, Anduin o Grande[1] (An(d)= longo, e duin = río en sindarin[2][3]) é un río ficticio que fica ó este das Hitaeglir. O Anduin percorre aproximadamente 2500 quilómetros até a súa foz na baía de Belfalas, formando un delta chamado Ethir Anduin. No seu curso pasa a carón de importantes lugares na cosmoloxía tolkiniana como a fervenza Rauros, Caor Andros ou Minas Tirith[4]. Frecuentemente, durante a Segunda Idade e Terceira Idade fixo as veces de raia entre varios reinos.

Durante os Anos das Árbores os elfos marcharon cara o oeste. Algúns dunha das tres liñaxes destes elfos, os teleri, seguiron o curso do Anduin cara o sur pasando a ser denominados nandor, os que tornan. Estes elfos nunca chegaron a Valinor e decidiron asentarse nos bosques da rexión.


No val formado no seu tramo superior habitan os hobbits sendo a rama dos albos os que máis se achegaban á ribeira para vivir[5].


Foi neste río onde Isildur perdeu o Anel Dominante que posteriormente atoparía o hobbit Déagol e tempo despois a Irmandade do Anel tamén recorreu o Anduin, xa que foi a carón del onde a Irmandade se despediu de Galadriel e de Celeborn deixando atrás Lothlórien.
